Founder story: Neal Sales-Griffin & The Starter League
By Craig Bryant
Jun 6, 2013
This founder story is from an innovative fella named Neal Sales-Griffin. Neal is co-founder and CEO of The Starter League in Chicago. The Starter League, for the uninitiated, has magical powers. In just two years, they’ve turned hundreds of people from all different walks of life into web app developers, UI designers, front-end programmers, UX designers, and entrepreneurs.
Neal and his crew at Starter League are about the nicest bunch of people you’ll meet. And the busiest. Every time I’m over there, I’m amazed at the kinship they create with the 160+ students in each 11-week session. Their success says a lot about the vision, dedication, and passion they’ve poured into making software development accessible to anyone who wants it.
